Individual dust collecting system

Available built-in with the following workstations:
Ergotech™, Medalist™, Freedom™. This system has a fractional horsepower, variable speed motor with a lighted power switch. Each technician may control the suction volume at his/her workstation. Dust is collected in a disposable filter bag that captures particulate larger than 7 microns, as determined by stringent ASHRAE Test Standard 52-1-1992. A secondary cartridge micro-filter on the motor captures particulate up to 4 microns. The dust collector motor may be operated in either manual or automatic modes. In manual mode, the power switch operates the motor. In automatic mode, the electric handpiece starts/stops the dust collector motor. The control panel includes indicator lights, which monitor the performance of the filter bag and dust collector motor. When the filter bag needs replacement or the motor requires service, the indicator light is on and the motor automatically shuts off to prevent damage to the system.

Portable Dust Collector

The No. 85000 Portable Dust Collector has the same features as the individual dust collector. This system will enable you to provide suction to workstations without suction. The unit is supplied with 4 feet of flexible tubing. Select a hood appropriate for the task.

The pedestal workstation is the industry’s first workstation with a self-contained dust collecting system. It is still the workstation of choice for thousands of technicians because of its functional and timeless design. Because legs are not required for support of the workstation, the technician can move a stool from one workstation to another and floor maintenance is more convenient. Suction for up to 4 workstations is provided by a single 1-horsepower sealed, brushless motor. A remarkably efficient reusable cartridge filter with 75 square feet of filter area is 99.35 percent efficient for the capture of particulate as small as 2.0 microns as determined by ASHRAE test Standard 52-1-1992. A blastgate at each workstation allows the technician to individually control suction.
