LITTLE BEAVER DELUXE MAGNETOSTRICTIVE
(CavitronTM) Type SCALING UNIT
The Little Beaver is a
super high quality and durable scaling unit.
The Little Beaver features a two position
turbo boost
foot pedal which allows the user to increase the scaling
power with out adjusting the dial on the front of the
unit. Simply press lightly on the foot pedal to begin
scaling and press firmly to kick the scaler into BOOST
mode.
30K
Automatic tuning
technology automatically tunes in the perfect
frequency for your insert. The Little Beaver accepts all
brands, makes, shapes and sizes of scaling inserts – if
they are 30K they will work with this scaler.
Advanced 30K technology is
the most advanced and highest power scaling
technology. The power of a 30K unit provides better
scaling efficiency while providing less discomfort for
the patient than 25K scalers.
The handpiece sheath
easily unscrews from the scaling handpiece and can be
autoclaved in any type of steam sterilizer (no dry
heat). This eliminates the threat of cross contamination
with out the use of barrier bags which tend to be clumsy
and costly.

The Handpiece: Slim, light
weight, powerful and autoclavable the handpiece is the
heart of the piezo technologies scaling unit. Piezo
Technologies handpieces accept all EMS type scaling
inserts and will connect to any EMS style piezo tubing
which makes them a great replacement handpiece for
existing EMS systems.
The control unit: Small
compact and powerful. Both the UDS-L and UDS-K combine
all the options and adjustments in and simple and
accessible package.
The UDS-L is a fully
digitally controlled system that features an Endo
scaling mode which allows the unit to be used in root
canal treatment. The digital control enhances the
efficiency of the scaling and provides the user with
more precise power control.
The UDS-K is a basic
scaling unit with a manual power control dial. The tips
and the handpiece are interchangeable with the UDS-L and
the unit features a sleek low profile, compact and
modern design.
Both units include a
selection of 5 scaling tips one of each general scaling
inserts (G1, G2, G3, G4) and our most popular perio tip
the P1. In addition to the 5 scaling tips, the UDS-L
also includes our most popular Endo tip (E1).
